HIV PREVENTION SERVICES
The HIV Prevention Division offers a wide range of services that have been developed or adapted to meet the specific needs of diverse populations.  Our goal is to provide community, small group and individual level education and skills building to reduce the risk of HIV among NYC’s most impacted communities.  This includes, but is not limited to group, individual and community level programming for black men who have sex with men, women of color, young people, and men and women of every point along the trans-spectrum.  The Prevention Division also provides a range of harm-reduction programming onsite and through mobile units.

Bronx AIDS Services provides services to anyone who is diagnosed with HIV/AIDS, regardless of race, color, creed, disability, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, age, national origin or mode of transmission. Our services are free and confidential.

Services Provided:

Primary medical care is provided by family physicians and internists at all CHN centers. Referrals for specialty services are made to hospitals within the communities where patients reside and with whom CHN maintains agreements. We emphasize holistic care through providing first-rate medical care, social services and health education, in group and one-on-one settings.

Services Provided:

Adult Consultative Services is committed to providing comprehensive and coordinated care for HIV affected adults, adolescents, and families, regardless of immigration status. We provide state-of-the-art HIV primary, specialty, and psychosocial services, including the newest and most effective medical care with access to research to and clinical trials. All services are confidential and the client is closely involved in the decision-making process.

Services Provided:

We provide youth-friendly, culturally sensitive services to adolescents ages 13-24 that are free and confidential. We offer thorough and comprehensive services including HIV/AIDS primary health care complete STD/HIV screening and treatment, HIV C/T, gynecological services, case management, mental health, support groups and outreach.

We provide an affirming environment to strengthen and support individuals by advancing self awareness, positive images, and visibility and we serve as a voice on issues that impact our lives.

Our goal is to build community and improve the quality of life and health among African-American and Caribbean gay men. We provide the community with information about HIV/AIDS and to support people who are both affected and/or infected by the epidemic.

Services Provided:

Bellevue Hospital Center HIV Services provides comprehensive medical care to all people with HIV/AIDS. We have an interdisciplinary team including primary and specialty medical care, clinical trials, nutrition, treatment adherence, harm reduction, case management, health education, and mental health services. An HIV satellite clinic with a focus on the Gay and Transgender communities is located on the Lower East Side.

Services Provided:

We are New York City's only primary health care center dedicated to meeting the health care needs of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) communities and people living with HIV/AIDS-regardless of any patient's ability to pay. We are welcoming to all, regardless of sexual orientation or insurance coverage.

The mission of the AIDS Center of Queens County is to enhance the quality of life for individuals and their families infected, affected and at risk for HIV/AIDS and other related conditions. We do this by providing comprehensive services in a non-judgmental, safe and supportive environment.

Services Provided:

The Hispanic AIDS Forum (HAF) is New York City’s premier Latino-run HIV/AIDS organization offering education and innovative prevention services to the city’s Latino population. HAF’s mission is to reduce transmission and secure timely and quality support services for Latinos affected by HIV/AIDS.

Services Provide:
